Sometimes there’s nothing better than staying in and doing nothing.¬†Okay I lied. It’s definitely better when you’re with your loved ones. So last week, I soaked in every second with my family during Thanksgiving.

As much as I love going out and doing things, I think I define more as a homebody. Whenever I get the chance, I love staying in and watching movies with a lot of snacks and a glass of wine. And I love when I’m in good company. This Thanksgiving, although the day was filled with chaos from 5 kids running around, it was still a cozy weekend inside. I showed up to my cousins’ house early, as usual, and in my pajamas.

I switched out of my slippers and into my Solmate Socks…and turned the fireplace on. I sat on the couch with the kids and waited for Santa to come on TV during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. I sipped on some tea and just stayed cozy AF until people started to show up.

Throughout the day, my cousin noticed my socks and wanted to try them on. Instead, I surprised him with a pair. I knew they would be the perfect little gift for him when he goes to their house in Vermont. He wore them ALL day long, even when he was in the kitchen cooking our Thanksgiving meal!

Solmate Socks are my new go-to gift. I mean who doesn’t love a pair of cozy socks? The unique designs make them look even cozier, and I love their history. What first started as a small, family-owned mill in North Carolina, has turned into a second generation business headquartered in Oregon. The love of patterns, designs, and fun colors really come through in every pair of socks. One of my favorite aspects of the business is that the products are made from recycled cotton. The fact that their made in the USA makes me even happier! You can get free shipping from now until December 31st by using the code¬†FUNSOCKS¬†when you check out. YAY!

At the end of the night, I stuck around while I waited for Matt to get back from his family’s Thanksgiving. Charlie, Lorraine, Lil C, John and I sat on the couch to wind down and watch the night football game…in our Solmate Socks of course! It was the perfect ending to the perfect Thanksgiving day!
