A New York City Christmas: Union Square Market

Happy Monday! Can you believe there’s only a week left until Christmas?!

Every year, the holidays seem to not only creep up on us faster but also are over in the blink of an eye. Aside from the fact that I don’t want the holidays to come and go, I also don’t want the amazing Christmas festivities to end! One of the cutest places during the holidays is Union Square Market.

I love Union Square any time of the year (it’s also so convenient to get to and to get to other places thanks to all of the subways). But during the holidays, the Union Square market comes to life. There are vendors upon vendors: Gift vendors, food vendors, and everything you could think of. Although it’s definitely part of the touristy part of Christmas, I feel like New Yorkers are inclined to come here too. It’s such a great way to spend the weekend during the holiday season, and gives ya something to do when you need to fill your afternoons!

Also, I’m verrrry well aware this isn’t a practical outfit to wear to a market. I did have my loafers on, but I wanted to show off my new shoes thanks to DSW. They were gifted to me at their holiday party and I just knew how much I’d love them. They’re a great, sexy little bootie, and I definitely plan on wearing them to more events! They’re about a 4 inch heel, but for whatever reason, they’re so comfortable! I paired it with my new eBay find: This teddy moto jacket! I saw Jess wearing it and wanted it in my life. Teddy coats are all the rage lately, so I jumped on the bandwagon.
